Ordering on the Magyia website is really easy! A few simple steps allow you to order high quality, fashionable eyewear and have them delivered to your home in no time. With the help of the video on the main page and at the bottom of this article, together with the below screenshots, we believe that you will be able to get your favorite frames quickly and hassle free. The first step in ordering your glasses is to select the frames you like the most, click on them and start the process of selecting the right prescription and lenses options.
Once you have selected your favorite frames, you select the lense type and any customization you want done for them. For lenses type you have four options; 1) No prescription which means you get stock lenses without any power 2) Far vision 3) Near vision 4) Progressive vision so you can see clear far and near. To select the right lenses type, just use the drop-down list and click on the one suits your specific needs.
If you want to customize your lenses, you can do that with the next drop-down list. You can select any of the following options; 1) Tinting the lens which makes your prescription glasses into sunglasses 2) Screen protection which protects your eyes from blue light exposure 3) Photochromic which means that once your lenses are exposed to sunlight, they turn into sunglasses, otherwise they remain clear as any normal prescription glasses 4) Polarized, which means that is a tinted surface reflecting 99% of the light away from your lenses, just like a mirror would.
Once you have selected the right lens type and customization, you can either fill in your prescription or upload a photo of your prescription.
To fill in your prescription, you would use the same drop-down list for all the values corresponding to your prescription received from the eye doctor. Each one of the values are important and the more information you can give, the better. However, no need to worry if you don’t have all the fields as not every prescription has them. It is always based on individual need; your doctor will know which values to enter in your prescription.
The values that we are asking for are; Sphere, Cylinder, Axis and Pupillary distance. And if you are ordering progressive glasses then we will need the value for Addition as well. Without Addition, progressive lenses cannot be made. But rest assured, if anything is missing, our customer service team will be in touch with you to ask for anything relevant.
Please note that we are asking for the right eye information first in the below fields. This is applicable to most of the prescriptions; the right eye information is always written first and that is why we have it first too.
If you don’t feel comfortable filling in the information in yourself, you can use the simple option of uploading your prescription by clicking on the “Upload my prescription” button and selecting a photo of your prescription. Although please do remember to ensure the photo is clear so our customer service team can easily read it.
The final selection part here is just to click on the thinning of the lenses which we recommend for anyone who has stronger prescription than ±2.5.
